This trekking trail is located in the mid-sestern region of Nepal. Having been known as a distinct part of Nepal, Lower Dolpo trekking offers an opportunity to visit completely rugged and arid land where it seldom rains. The dry and cold weather is another distinctive highlight of this trekking. The serenity offered by Shey-Phoksundo Lake is distinctively notable here. Besides, the abundant flora and faunas present around the lake, of course, pleases one to the top most.

A visit to ancient villages, passing through high passes, witnessing beautiful tranquil Lakes, sacred isolated Buddhist monasteries and also the experience of a great variety of flora and faunas wildlife inhabiting the region, including Blue sheep, Mountain Goat, Jackal, Wolf and the legendary Snow Leopard are the highlights to be noted during your trek.
